Digital Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. The Digital Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting clients with blog posting, content updating, and basic website changes.
This is a full-time position Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm.
Although this is a work-from-home position, you must be located in the St. Louis Metro area and be available for in-person meetings as needed.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Add pre-written blog posts to the client’s website by or before deadlines.
  • Ensure that all blog posts are search engine optimized based on instructions provided
  • Ensure that all blog posts are accurately formatted and have the correct tags and categories
  • Ensure that images associated with blog posts are search engine optimized based on the instructions provided.
  • Edit blog posts for correct spelling and grammar as needed.
  • Respond to any questions or concerns from the content team regarding the addition of blog posts
  • Follow all content guidelines and best practices for website management
  • Assist with website updates and maintenance, including creating and updating web pages, editing content, and optimizing for search engines
  • Must be willing and able to speak with clients on the phone or by Zoom as needed.
  • Must be able to professionally answer support tickets related to their clients’ requests.
  • Must be available Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Central Time for work completion.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing role or relevant internship experience
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a desire to learn and grow in the field of digital marketing

Pay and Benefits:
  • This position will start as a full-time sub-contractor position, with the option of a W2 position after 90 days of service.
  • Salary range is $20-$30 per hour based on experience, with earned raises and bonuses.
  • W2 Benefits include 401K match after 90 days of W2 employment.
  • We offer 2-3 weeks paid vacation per year.

Salary: $38,500.00 – $42,500.00 per year
